Multistate 4G Service

Fiber optic networks provider FiberLight LLC of Alpharetta, Ga., has partnered with Clearwire Communications of Kirkland, Wash., to provide core fiber network infrastructure for the latter company’s wireless deployment in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Texas and Florida. The companies will extend Clearwire’s Clear 4G mobile WiMax service across various markets as part of a multiyear build-out plan to cover 80 markets with broadband access by the end of 2010. FiberLight will provide more than 900 route-miles of high-capacity optical transport.
