Sensor System Order

Opsens Inc. of Quebec City has received an order from a large US global energy company for its OPP-W fiber optic pressure and temperature sensor system. Opsens Solutions Inc., a wholly owned unit based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, will use proprietary technology to instrument two wells with real-time pump intake pressure and temperature data. Opsens supplies and manufactures a range of fiber optic sensors and associated signal conditioners based on proprietary patented and patent-pending technologies. They are suitable for OEMs and for end users in the oil and gas industry, the medical field and the laboratory.
