Intlvac Names CTO of Thin Films
Intlvac announced the recent hire of Dr. Daniel Mitchell as its chief technical officer of thin-film operations.
Mitchell brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the thin-film technology field. In the new role, he will develop coating services using the company’s new plasma-assisted reactive magnetron sputtering coating systems.
Prior to joining the company, Mitchell worked at Eclan Optical Technologies as a senior engineering physicist. He also worked at Applied Physics Specialties, where he was an assistant manager in the R&D division specializing in coatings.
Intlvac manufactures a range of systems for physical vapor deposition and ion beam sputter etch systems.
