Tube-Cutting Facility Opens at Ohio Laser
Ohio Laser LLC announced the opening of a new dedicated laser tube and pipe cutting facility on its ISO-9001:2008 manufacturing campus.
With the opening of the new facility, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can efficiently streamline the production of their tubes and pipes in one location. The stand-alone building offers a 3600-W Trumpf TruLaser 7000 laser tube cutting system, a 3000-W Trumpf Tubematic 5000 system, raw material storage, and a 10-ton overhead crane to transfer materials more efficiently throughout the entire facility.
In addition, the company offers custom tube fabricating services, including CNC tube bending, robotic tube welding, machining and manual welding that process all types of tubes, pipes and other metal components.
Manufacturers can cut tubes with outside dimensions from 0.6 in. to 8 in. (square tubes) and 10 in. (round tubes) at the facility. The company offers laser cutting of tubes up to 30 ft long, with a 500-pound maximum and up to ½-in. wall thickness.
At the plant, manufacturers can produce racks, frames, trusses, supports, manifolds or any other item made from cut tubes and other metal fabrications.
Ohio Laser provides advanced laser processing and fabrication.
