Benelux Photonics Event Expands

Organized by Mikrocentrum and Photonics Cluster Netherlands, Fotonica Evenement 2011 is the meeting point in the Benelux to discover new possibilities in the field of photonics.

The fifth edition conference and exhibition will be expanded into a two-day event to be held at the Nieuwegein’s Business Center March 29-30. The event is free of charge.

Previously a one-day presentation, the newly expanded event will provide attendees a more interesting conference program that includes topics like healthcare and life science, information and communication technology, photonics in daily life, fundamental research photonics, lighting, industrial photonics and solar.

Technology topics to be highlighted at the conference will include microscopy, integrated optics, optical sensing and imaging, LEDs, OLEDs and lasers.

The Photonics Event was established to create a bridge between the research and business sectors, and between new technologies and innovative applications.
