Laserscope Adds to Board, Management Team

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 1 -- Laserscope has named Ruediger Naumann-Etienne as a member of its board of directors and Robert L. Mathews as executive vice president. Naumann is owner and managing director of Intertec Group, an investment company that acts as principal in turnaround situations. In addition, he is chairman of the board of OEC Medical Systems, a fluoroscopic imaging company providing products for minimally invasive surgery.
Mathews' most recent post was executive vice president and general manager of the MasterPlan division of COHR Inc., a management consulting organization. Prior to that he served as vice president and general manager of Diasonics Vingmed Ultrasound Inc.
