Company Relaunch

In Waltham, Mass., the former Illumination and Detection Solutions business unit of PerkinElmer Inc. has been formally relaunched as !%Excelitas Technologies Corp.%! The newly named company, now owned by private equity firm Veritas Capital, has manufacturing operations in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. It will continue to support OEM and aftermarket customers across a range of markets, including medical, analytical instrumentation, clinical diagnostics, industrial, safety and security, and aerospace and defense.
