ISE 2011 Set to Showcase Imaging Industry

Image Sensors Europe 2011, which will take place from March 22 to 24, will offer in-depth analyses of image sensors submarkets as well as networking opportunities for people in the field.

Europe’s only event focusing on the image sensors market, technologies and applications, ISE 2011 will be located at Copthorne Tara Hotel in the Kensington district. It will kick off with two workshops: managing noise in digital imaging, and subjective and objective evaluation of image quality. Key topics will be image sensor market analysis, innovations in image sensor technology and system architecture, and developments in image sensor applications and large-area sensors.

The various market analyses will be delivered by high-profile speakers from industry-leading companies, including ST Microelectronics, Dalsa Corp., Sony, Yole Développement, I3A, TowerJazz, Aptina, CSEM, CMOSIS, Grass Valley Nederland BV, Nocturnal Vision, PMD Technologies, Imatest, Tessera, Omnivision Technologies, Philips Research Laboratories, RICatek, New Imaging Technologies, Siemens, Delft University of Technology and Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

Attendees also will have the opportunity to discuss potential new ventures and find first-class business contacts during many networking breaks. Companies that have registered to attend so far include Apple, Microsoft, Nokia, Schott, Bosch, Carl Zeiss KFT, Eastman Kodak, Council Scientific Industrial Research, Philips Digital, Sharp Laboratories of Europe and Siemens Healthcare.

A small exhibition featuring TowerJazz, Soitec and Yole Développement, will complement the conference.

The complete program and list of attendees can be found on the conference’s official website.
