$41M Mast Contract

The Electro-Optical Div. of imaging systems provider !%Kollmorgen Corp.%! of Northampton, Mass., has been awarded a $41.2 million multiyear contract to produce eight AN/BVS-1 photonics mast systems for installation on Virginia-class submarines SSN 784-791, as well as on associated engineering services and optional photonics mast spares. The contract was not competitively procured, and it will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., commissioned the contract.
