Former Thorlabs Exec Joins Photonic Products Group

Amy Eskilson has joined Photonic Products Group Inc. as its vice president of sales and marketing, the company announced recently.

Eskilson most recently served as director of business development for the photonics components catalog at Thorlabs Inc., where she worked closely with senior management of photonics companies, university research groups and government entities.

The decision to join PPGI stemmed from her desire to work with a small, focused team to build an organization with a unique set of photonics capabilities, she said.

PPGI manufactures products for use in photonics industry sectors, most notably for crystal-based optical components and devices, custom optical components for both glass and metal, and precision optical and optomechanical assemblies.
