Telemis

Telemis, a medical imaging solutions provider in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, has further consolidated its position in Italy with the acquisition of Micromedica Ltd., a picture archiving and communications system (PACS) vendor in Turin. Micromedica will become part of the Telemis Group, and Gian Paolo Robutti, Micromedica’s managing director, will be its general manager. In 2009, Telemis extended its operations into Italy with the opening of Telemis Italia srl. The acquisition of Micromedica will strengthen its sales and technical support capabilities and will support its strategy to grow its PACS and multimedia archiving communications system markets in Europe.
