PRC Acquires Lee Laser

PRC Laser of Landing, N.J., has acquired Lee Laser Inc., the Orlando, Fla.-based OEM supplier of lamp- and diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers.

PRC, which manufactures high-power CO₂ industrial lasers, hopes the acquisition will help to better address the global demand for industrial laser systems. OEMs outside the US purchase approximately half of Lee Laser's products.

Chong Lee will continue as president of Lee Laser.
