ALM Acquires Stake in Laser Sintering Biz
Advanced Laser Materials (ALM), which develops and manufactures materials for rapid manufacturing, announced its strategic partnership with Integra Services of Temple, Texas, which offers technical expertise to the laser sintering business. The relationship will enable ALM to transition from providing prototypes to offering complete manufacturing services for the laser sintering business. ALM has been affiliated with laser sintering systems manufacturer EOS since 2009.
“The strategic partnership between Integra, ALM and EOS will allow complete custom digital manufacturing solutions for the industry, including integrated platforms, materials and services,” said Donnie Vanelli, president of ALM LLC. “The EOS Group will now have complete material and service packages for all laser sintering platforms in North America with a strong focus on materials development research and responsive service.”
Under the agreement, ALM will act as majority shareholder, obtaining 51 percent of Integra’s shares.
