Jenoptik, LEIDS Partner on LED Lighting
Jenoptik’s Optoelectronic Systems Div. has signed a development and cooperation agreement with German solid-state lighting developer LEIDS. The latter is a subsidiary of Alder Optomechanical, a Taiwanese LED manufacturer.
During the five-year agreement, the two organizations will develop LED lighting for industrial applications.

LEIDS will provide expertise in the field of LED production and system design, as well as access to industrial markets, while Jenoptik will provide expertise in the development and production of high-performance optics, Jenoptik said.
The companies’ goal is to produce highly efficient LED illumination systems for applications such as warehouse or workplace lighting.
