Ibsen Photonics VP Wins Electro Prize
Bjarke Rose, vice president of spectrometer modules at Ibsen Photonics, has been awarded the Electro Prize 2011 for his work in developing and commercializing optical sensing and spectroscopy systems, the company has announced.
Applications for the systems include strain monitoring for wind turbine blades and early warning systems for the structural health of buildings and bridges.
The Electro Prize 2011 was awarded by the Danish Association of Engineers through the Danish Electro Foundation.
Ibsen Photonics provides holographic, fused silica transmission gratings and spectrometer modules for a range of telecom, analytical, sensing and laser markets.
