Telops Awarded Contract for Two Hyper-Cams from SpecTIR
Telops Inc., a supplier of IR cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems for numerous applications, has been awarded a contract worth $1.6 million by SpecTIR LLC of Reno, Nev. The contract includes the initial delivery of two Hyper-Cams, a Fourier-transform IR hyperspectral imaging product.
“Our unique imaging technology will support SpecTIR’s efforts to bring remote sensing applications to a higher level and help conduct hyperspectral remote sensing missions,” said Paul Chabot of Telops.
The Telops hyperspectral sensors will be integrated by SpecTIR in a system for the US government, with a mission for standoff detection and identification of targets for data collection.
