Goodrich Acquires Aviation Safety Firm
Goodrich Corp. announced its acquisition of Winslow Marine Products Corp., a provider of life rafts to the corporate aviation, helicopter and marine markets. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
As part of the transaction, which closed Sept. 30, Winslow has become part of Goodrich’s Interiors business.
A privately held company, Winslow develops products used by corporate and business aircraft manufacturers. Its products are custom-designed to fit in a variety of aircraft interior configurations. Its raft designs have also been applied to commercial helicopters.
Goodrich supplies systems and services to aerospace, defense and homeland security markets. UTC recently announced it will buy the company in an $18.4 billion deal. (See:
