Tillner Named COO at Osram Opto Semiconductors

Frank Tillner has succeeded Elke Eckstein as chief operating officer at Osram Opto Semiconductors’ Regensburg, Germany, headquarters, the company announced.

In his new position, Tillner will be responsible for the chip and LED production plants in Regensburg and Penang, Malaysia.

Tillner has years of experience in semiconductor processes and production. Prior to his appointment, he served as senior vice president of Conergy AG.

Osram Opto Semiconductors provides semiconductor technology solutions for lighting, sensor and visualization applications.
