LED light source provider !%CoolLED%! of Andover, UK, has named !%106%%Accu-Scope Inc.%! of Commack, N.Y., as master US distributor of its pE-100 illuminators for fluorescence and light microscopy. The illuminators address the mercury bans in hospitals and laboratories by offering an LED light source to replace traditional mercury or metal halide systems. Accu-Scope provides microscopes for clinical, educational, industrial and research applications.
