Based in North Sutton, N.H., !%Labsphere Inc.%!, a Halma company, has signed a cooperation agreement with National Lighting Test Centre in Shanghai. The partnership, facilitated by Labsphere distributor Shanghai Alpha Lighting Equipment Testing Ltd., is based on Labsphere’s supplying the center with its thermal/optical/electrical characterization LED measurement system. The center will apply its patent “Measurement Devices for LED Forward Voltage Drop and Junction Temperature Curve” (No. ZL2009 2 0212653.0) to the system to correlate voltage drop with junction temperature. The companies also will share information on lighting trends and will launch academic activities.
