NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center
NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., is offering its advanced optical technologies for licensing and partnership opportunities. Wavefront sensing and adaptive optics technology, procedures and lab equipment will be made available to private industry through NASA’s Innovative Partnerships Program Office’s “Can You See It Now?” campaign. The technologies, developed for the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes, could promote advances in microscopy, lasik and refractive eye surgery, biometric imaging, and advanced cameras and sensors. Besides the hardware and software solutions, NASA Goddard also offers components, design tools and engineering help to firms seeking to develop adaptive optics systems.
