Proceedings of Internet Tech Symposium Published

The European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) has announced publication of the Proceedings of the Symposium on World-Wide Developments in Internet Technologies.

Organized by EPIC, the symposium featured invited presentations from the International Optoelectronics Association. The presentations were given during ECOC 2011, the European Conference on Optical Communications, in Geneva on Sept. 19, 2011.

The program included the following presentations:

K.Z. Cho, Korea Association for Photonics Industry Development (KAPID), Gwangju, Korea — “FTTH in Korea”

Dirk Kalinowski, OpTech-Net, Duisburg, Germany — “FTTH and FITH — Complementary and Converging Networks”

Chris Gracie, Scottish Optoelectronics Association (SOA), Livingston, England — “Component Development in Europe for Fiber Optic Communications”
