Beeson Promoted to Semrock GM

Robert Beeson was selected to succeed Michael Cumbo as general manager of optical filter manufacturer Semrock Inc., the company announced.

Beeson was part of the Semrock team during its formative years in optical telecommunications, having gained previous experience at JDS Uniphase and Southwest Research Institute. Before rejoining the company in 2006, he served as a principal physics engineer at Raytheon and DRS Technologies.

Semrock is a unit of Idex Optics and Photonics.
