Telops Awarded Camera Contract
Infrared camera and hyperspectral imaging systems provider Telops has announced its award of a contract for a cooled infrared camera by The Patuxent River Infrared Signature Measurements (PRISM) Team, under the auspices of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).
The contract includes the delivery of a cooled very long wave infrared camera. Featuring real-time temperature calibration and instantaneous availability of processed and calibrated images, it will assist the US Naval Air Warfare Center.
“We are proud that our unique infrared camera will support [PRISM’s] efforts to provide the capabilities, facilities (labs and ranges) and specialized expertise necessary for conducting research, development, test and evaluation of naval aircraft, weapons and associated systems,” said Paul Chabot, vice president of sales and marketing at Telops.
