LumaSense Buys Reliability Point’s Thermal Imaging Assets
To enhance its sales, support and aftermarket services for its line of thermal imaging devices, LumaSense Technologies has acquired the thermal imaging and services assets of Louisiana-based Reliability Point.
The two companies have worked together for the past five years on a number of industrial thermal imaging projects.
Reliability Point customers include steel, oil and gas, petrochemical and other process manufacturers located in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and the Carolinas. It will retain its other distribution arms, which include vibration instrumentation, precision laser systems, corona cameras and others.
LumaSense develops products and services that measure temperature and gas in industrial facilities. Its line of thermal imaging technology includes modules, detectors and cameras for the clean technology, energy and industrial markets.
