Orbotech Gets Order from Unicap Electronics

YAVNE, Israel, Oct. 19 -- Orbotech Ltd. announced that Unicap Electronics Industrial Corp., a Taiwanese printed circuit board manufacturer, has placed an order valued at $2 million (US) for multiple units of Orbotech's InSpire-9060 automated optical inspection system. In commenting on the order, Peter Koo, president of Unicap Electronics, asserted that the 9000 Series' fully automated unattended operation and advanced defect detection techniques would enable Unicap to achieve its yield and throughput goals.
