AE Photonics Expands in Greece

Photovoltaic wholesaler and solar power plant constructor AE Photonics GmbH & Co. KG of Dresden, Germany, has opened an office in Athens, Greece. A 100 percent subsidiary of AE Photonics, AE Photonics Hellas Ltd. promotes the distribution of modules and inverters in Greece, and it will enter into the project development business. The company said it considers Greece a logical next step because of its abundant sunshine and because in 2004 the country enacted a law promoting photovoltaics.
