Zoller to Manage Photonic Sense

Linus Zoller is the new managing director of Photonic Sense GmbH, which is part of Jenoptik’s Optical Systems Div., the company announced.

In this role, Zoller replaces Hendrikus Nijssen, who will retire as company manager on Dec. 31. Zoller assumes operational and strategic management functions. He will focus his efforts on breaking new strategic ground for the company as well as on creating new business opportunities in the industrial applications arena. He will also handle defense and security, the established core business.

Zoller has more than 25 years of management experience and is an expert in optics and optoelectronics. Most recently, he was acting CEO of a Swiss optics manufacturer.

Photonic Sense manufactures germanium and silicon optical components for infrared spectral range applications, including thermographic cameras, night-vision systems, firefighting equipment and industrial monitoring cameras.
