Avantes Moves to Larger Facility

!%Avantes BV%!, a manufacturer of instruments, light sources, software and accessories for spectroscopic applications, has moved to a state-of-the-art 2700-sq-m facility in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. The energy-efficient facility will provide increased production capacity, enabling shorter lead times. It also will provide for extended engineering operations to support planned R&D projects. The company released nine new spectrometers in 2011 and plans to release several new instruments and to announce improvements to its existing product lines.
