IRphotonics Adds Thermal Imaging Camera
Infrared fibers and systems manufacturer !%IRphotonics%! of Hamden, Conn., has acquired a high-resolution forward-looking infrared thermal imaging camera to expand the capabilities of its application engineering lab. The camera will enable the company to analyze the distribution of heat in the parts that are exposed to its iCure AS200, an in-line fiber optic system that provides heat by infrared radiation in a portable unit. The system delivers accurate control for temperature-sensitive substrates and complex devices. The goal is to optimize energy, wavelength and irradiance to meet particular process needs or to improve clients’ manufacturing productivity.
