Idex Names Silvernail Board Chairman

Andrew K. Silvernail, Idex Corp.’s chief executive officer, was appointed chairman by the company’s board of directors.

The appointment, which will take effect Jan. 1, 2012, will follow the previously announced resignation of Larry Kingsley, the current non-executive chairman, on Dec. 31, 2011. (See: Silvernail to Replace Kingsley as Idex CEO)
