FBGS International

A new company, FBGS International, was founded and started as of July 1, 2011. Based in Geel, Belgium, it is a fully owned subsidiary of FBGS Technologies of Germany. The company has taken over a major part of the business, technology and staff of the former FOS&S and will commercialize the draw tower gratings (DTGs) of FBGS Technologies as well as other related fiber optic sensing products. FBGS International will consolidate the business of FOS&S and FBGS Technologies in the supply of OEM products (DTGs and measurement modules), strain and temperature monitoring products, and customized products for volume applications. It will be active in the medical and other markets.
