Zephyr Photonics Adds Networking, Fiber Experts

Zephyr Photonics has appointed Dan Tuck as general manager and vice president of component operations and Dr. Daniel Zhu as vice president of engineering.

Tuck previously served as chief operating officer and vice president of engineering at Datastrip Inc., a mobile handheld biometric terminals manufacturer. He has more than 20 years’ experience leading project teams in the development of software and hardware intensive products.

Zhu previously was director of engineering at Emcore Corp., where he was responsible for the design, development and high-volume production of high-speed active optical cables and pluggable optical transceivers. He has worked in the fiber optics communications field since 1988.
