JK Lasers Appoints North American Sales Director

As part of its global expansion, JK Lasers appointed Andrew Dodd as its new sales director for North America.

Dodd, who joined JK Lasers on Jan. 16, brings more than 28 years of experience in the industrial lasers industry. In his new role, Dodd will oversee the establishment of a dedicated sales and service facility in southeast Michigan. The new site will incorporate laboratories for specialty applications, enabling the company to demonstrate products and processes to customers.

Prior to joining the company, he was responsible for Miyachi’s sales operations in the Midwest.

JK Lasers, a unit of GSI Group, provides industrial lasers and laser processing solutions for the medical device, aerospace, automotive, electronics and semiconductor industries.
