Elbit Receives Award to Update Head-Up Displays
!%Elbit Systems of America LLC%! of Talladega, Ala., a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., has received a $38.5 million, five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the Defense Logistics Agency-Ogden to update head-up displays. Under the contract, Elbit will manufacture reliability and maintaining electronic module assemblies for all US Air Force Block 30 and Block 50 f-16 wide-angle conventional head-up displays. To date, the company has received $3 million in orders under the contract. The contract implements the value engineering change proposal submitted by Elbit Systems of America to replace the legacy electronic module within the wide-angle conventional head-up display.
