Linda Chavez Joins REO Board
Former White House staffer Linda Chavez has joined the board of directors at thin-film coatings, optics and optomechanical assemblies supplier REO, the company announced.
Chavez was the highest-ranking woman to serve in the White House under President Ronald Reagan and became the first Latina ever nominated to a Cabinet position under President George W. Bush. She is a syndicated columnist, author, and a Fox News political commentator.
Chavez currently serves as a director of ABM Industries, a provider of building maintenance and facility services, and is a board member of several nonprofit organizations.
"Linda brings an extraordinary range of skills, knowledge and contacts to our board," said REO CEO Paul Kelly, skills that will be valuable to the company as it moves to expand into new markets and territories.
