Inrad Optics Inc.

Seeking to capitalize on its longevity in the industry, Photonic Products Group has changed its name to !%Inrad Optics Inc.%!, restoring its original name. The company was founded as Inrad Inc. in 1973; it operated under the name Photonics Products Group Inc. until the name change, which was approved at a meeting of the shareholders held Jan. 18. A vertically integrated photonics manufacturer, Inrad Optics of Northvale, N.J., offers crystal-based optical components and devices, custom optical components for glass and metal, and precision optical and optomechanical assemblies for laser, medical, metrology, aerospace and process control applications.
