!%ProPhotonix Ltd.%! of Salem, N.H., has reported a narrowed 2011 net loss but a revenue increase of 12 percent over 2010. The company designs and manufactures LED light engines and laser diode modules for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and medical equipment companies. Although disappointed with the slowdown in solar equipment sales in the second half, the company said its financial results and sales both improved. Chairman and CEO Mark W. Blodget said, “2011 was an important year for ProPhotonix, during which we significantly strengthened our R&D and sales efforts, expanded our product offering and strengthened our balance sheet with the secondary stock offering last July.”
