EMagin Granted Microdisplay Contract
!%EMagin Corp.%! of Bellevue, Wash., has received a $1.12 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract from the US Special Operations Command to optimize its WUXGA organic LED microdisplay for mass production. The project includes a $435,000 option. Under the contract, eMagin plans to make the 1920 x 1200-pixel OLED microdisplay more affordable for military and commercial applications. The microdisplay is currently available as an engineering sample to commercial OEM customers and military contracts.
