Dynasil CEO Ruggieri Resigns

Steven K. Ruggieri will resign as CEO and president of Dynasil Corp. of America and as a member of its board of directors, effective July 6.

Dynasil chairman Peter Sulick will serve as the company’s interim CEO and president until a replacement is named by the board.

Sulick has been a director of the company since 2008 and has served as the non-executive chairman of the board since September 2009. In addition to taking on his new role, Sulick will remain chairman of the board.

Sulick is president and CEO of AmeriSite LLC, a family-owned real estate development and investment company he founded in 1998. He is also the executive chairman and former CEO of Prism Microwave Inc.

Dynasil Corp. of America develops and manufactures detection and analysis technology, precision instruments and optical components for homeland security, medical and industrial markets.
