Trumpf Promotes Simpson, Bailey

Shane Simpson and Tom Bailey have been appointed to management positions at Trumpf Inc., a laser and fabrication machinery company.

Simpson was named regional manager of machine tool sales for the mid-Atlantic region, including North and South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and southern New Jersey. He will oversee sales of the company’s line of fabrication machinery, which includes laser cutting, punching, combination punch-laser and press brake technologies. He has more than 17 years of experience within the machine tool group at Trumpf.

Bailey began his career at the company in 2006, working as an applications engineer before serving as a sales engineer for laser machine tools. In his new role as product manager for the TruBend Product Group in North America, he will be responsible for the TruBend and BendMaster press brake product lines. He will report to Jim Rogowski, director of machine and power tool sales.
