LED Engin Appoints 3 New Execs

Following the completion of a series E funding round, lighting solutions company LED Engin Inc. announced three executive management appointments to support its continued growth.

Geoff Brown joins LED Engin as a vice president to manage the sales team and new business opportunities outside China and Taiwan. Previously, he served as vice president of sales for Luxim and held sales positions at Optillion, Raychem and Elo Touchsystems.

Jack S. Yeh was named vice president of sales for China and Taiwan. He served more than six years as vice president of sales and marketing at SemiLEDs and has held sales and marketing positions at United Epitaxy Co. Ltd. and Princo Inc.

LED Engin also appointed Seth Halio as its first chief financial officer. With more than 25 years of senior financial management experience, he has served as CFO at both private and public venture-backed companies. In addition, his experience includes technology and consumer product companies such as Spectra-Physics, Diamond Foods, California Microwave and Ocular Sciences.
