Chandler Joins Ocean Thin Films
Dr. Eric Chandler has joined Ocean Thin Films as an electro-optical scientist focused on multispectral imaging and sensing applications.
Chandler will provide technical support to OEM sensing and imaging product customers using PixelTec multispectral subsystems. The proprietary technology enables micron-scale patterning of multiple thin-film optical coatings on a single substrate, providing compact, cost-effective devices for defense, medical and industrial applications.
Prior to joining the Halma plc subsidiary, Chandler graduated from the applied physics doctoral program at the Colorado School of Mines, where his research efforts focused on the nonlinear optical characterization of silicon nanostructured materials for bioimaging and photovoltaic applications.
