Idex Optics & Photonics Hires Sales Manager

Clark Tooly has joined Idex's Optics & Photonics (IOP) organization as global strategic sales manager, effective immediately, the industrial products maker announced this week.

Tooly, who previously worked in sales management and sales engineering for a defense and aerospace company, will initially support the products of ATFilms and Precision Photonics Corp., both IOP units based in Boulder.

"His 15 years of optics sales experience and related industry and applications experience will be invaluable to ensuring we properly align our energies here in Boulder with the overall sales plan and strategy for IOP, while ever more effectively serving our customers,” said Joe Stupfel, general manager of ATFilms and Precision Photonics.

Laser mirrors and coatings manufacturer ATFilms became a unit of Idex Corp. in January 2011; optical components maker Precision Photonics joined IOP in April 2012. (See: Idex Adds Precision Photonics to O&P Platform)
