Steward Joins Orb Optronix

Former Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Manager Heidi Steward has been hired as director of sales and marketing at Orb Optronix.

Steward will help Orb expand its LED test-and-measurement, optical, software engineering, solid-state lighting and LED products and services.

She spent eight years at PNNL, most of which involved supporting the US Department of Energy’s (DoE) Solid State Lighting Commercialization Support Program. She also was responsible for managing PNNL’s photometric labs, for testing and reporting products in the DoE’s CaLiPER program, and for developing test procedures for rule making of energy-efficient codes for high-intensity discharge lamps, among others.

Steward is Lighting Certified through the National Council on the Qualifications of the Lighting Professions.
