Telops Lands Leak Detection Contract in China
Telops has received a leak detection and identification system contract from Sinopec Group of Beijing.
The contract includes the delivery of a leak detection and identification system based on Telops’ Hyper-Cam, a Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy hyperspectral imaging instrument. The system, which monitors several gases simultaneously — such as specific aromatic and smelling compounds — will help Sinopec detect and identify harmful chemical leaks and fugitive chemical emissions in real time.
