Specialty glass maker !%Corning Inc.%! has opened the Corning Technology Center Berlin for telecommunications customers. Located in the Adlershof Science and Technology Park, the new facility is home to Germany-based members of Corning Cable Systems GmbH & Co. KG. Governing mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit (center), Corning chairman and CEO Wendell Weeks (left) and Hardy Schmitz, CEO of WISTA-Management GmbH spoke at the Sept. 12 opening of the center.
