Richard Pollard is the new president of !%Ocean Optics Inc.%! of Dunedin, Fla. He replaces Kevin Chittim, who has been appointed to the company’s board and named divisional acquisition executive for its parent company, Halma plc. Previously, Pollard was affiliated with Radcom Technologies Ltd. of Hampshire, UK, also part of the Halma group. He joined Ocean Optics in 2006 as vice president of operations and was promoted to chief operating officer in 2008. He has experience in the electronics, automotive and medical products industries.
