Laser Photonics Names President, CEO
CARLSBAD, Calif., Dec. 6 -- Laser Photonics Inc. has appointed Jeffrey F. O'Donnell as its new president and CEO, and as a member of its board of directors. O'Donnell's most recent role was as president and CEO of X-SITE Medical; he currently serves as a director of Radiance Medical Systems, Escalon Medical Corp., and X-SITE Medical.
Alex Charlton, Laser Photonics' chairman, said, We are pleased to have a person of Jeff O'Donnell's talent and experience in leading public medical device companies join LPI during such an exciting and challenging period for the Company. LPI has been focused on developing its two excimer laser technology applications, the first licensed to Baxter Healthcare for cardiovascular treatment and the second intended for treatment of psoriasis. Jeff's expertise will be invaluable as we move towards commercialization of these important medical products.
