Laser Energetics Hires FDA Compliance Consultant
Laser Energetics Inc. has hired consultant Jerome E. Dennis to help bring its Dazer Laser products into full compliance with the requirements of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the FDA.
Dennis, a 33-year retired veteran of the CDRH, will assist Laser Energetics through its US government and FDA 21CFR regulations for its Dazer Laser Guardian. The device is already compliant with the ANSI Z136 standards, Dennis said. To learn more about the nonlethal, less violent device, see:

An international expert in lasers and optical radiation safety and safety standards, Dennis has served as chairman of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Technical Committee 76 on optical radiation safety and laser equipment, and as past vice chairman of the ANSI Z136 standards committee. In 2010, he received the Lord Kelvin Award, the IEC’s highest award.
“Mr. Dennis brings us decades of experience to quickly navigate through successful FDA compliance,” said Robert D. Battis, CEO, president and founder of Laser Energetics Inc.
